Quotes
- [9F11] (at the supermarket)
Selma is shopping in a supermarket, her bags being put away by the
puberty kid, with a black guy (Arnold) on checkout.
The kid asks her something:
PB: Paper or plastic?
Selma: You decide. [looks down] So, wearing a belt, are you?
PB: Uh-huh.
Selma: No suspenders for you.
PB: [pauses] I guess not.
Selma: Orange is really your color.
PB: They make us wear this.
Selma: Shall we continue this conversation over dinner?
PB: Uh -- I'm not allowed to date customers. It's store policy.
Arnold: No, it isn't.
PB: [kicks him in the shin, whispering] Shut up!
Arnold: No, go for it, man!
- [9F19] (after trying to pull a taco out of boiling grease) {ds}
This is coming out of my salary. If I had a girlfriend, she'd kill me.
- [1F08] (at the Burns casino)
Bart: Woo-hoo! Jackpot.
PB: Wait a minute: are you over 21?
Bart: Are you?
PB: I'm not authorized to answer that.
But Bart is tossed into the street nonetheless.
Bart: By the way, your martinis suck!
PB: Oh yeah? What are you going to do? Start your own casino in your
treehouse and get all your little friends to come? I'd like to
see that. Ah ha ha ha...
[Kids pile into Bart's new casino in his treehouse]
Bart: Hi, yeah, welcome. Have a lucky day. Mm hmm.
PB: Well, he certainly showed me.
- [2F06] (after Homer's exonerating public access message airs)
"Two calls: that's our best ever! [answers one] Hello? No, Janice doesn't
live here...[answers other] Hello? Yes, I _am_ interested in long-distance
savings! _Very_ interested."
- [3F12] (at IRS Burger, formerly Krusty Burger)
Homer: Lesse, I'll have four tax burgers, one IRS-wich, withhold the
lettuce, four dependent-sized sodas, and a FICA-ccino.
PB: Fill out schedule B. You should receive your burgers in six
to eight weeks.
Suggestions, additions and corrections are welcomed.
