Homer Simpson and Archie Bunker:

The similarities are astonishing!

Compiled by Terry Stone
Homer and Archie are two American working class heroes who are remarkably similar:

  1. Both are middle class, punch-in punch-out workers.

  2. Both have a younger male and female within the household.

  3. Homer drowns his sorrows at Moe's, while Archie does the same at Kelcey's.

  4. Both have daughters that are very political and environmentally aware.

  5. Both hate their neighbours. (Flandereses and the Jeffersons)

  6. Both like beer and TV.

  7. And most obvious of all. Both are very naive to the world outside their own little domain.
