Quotes and Scene Summaries

In the TV room, Bart is on the couch with Maggie, unwrapping a brand-new
Butterfinger bar.  He grimaces delightfully, when Homer shows up in
front of him.

  Homer: Baaart, I'm gonna open my mouth and close my eyes, and you're
         gonna give me a big surprise!  [his tone changes from innocent
         to threatening halfway through this line]

While Homer performs his part of the deal, Bart thinks for a moment and
then pulls out Maggie's pacifier, and shoves it into Homer's waiting
mouth.  Homer is too stupified to do anything.

[announcer/live action interlude]

Homer is sitting resentfully on the couch (with the pacifier still in
his mouth), as Maggie leaps and gropes from his lap, trying to get her
pacifier back.  Bart is standing with his back to them, facing us.

  Bart: [takes a bite] Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger.

Behind Bart, Maggie finally retrieves her pacifier, and places it back
in her mouth.
